Client: A non-profit organisation in the field of human rights and harm reduction
Service: Content creation, graphic design, video production, post-production video and audio editing, and proofreading
Result: Two tip sheets and two video resources in four languages
Client
INPUD, a non-profit organisation working in the field of human rights and harm reduction, commissioned us to develop tip sheets and video resources about digital high-level advocacy and media and social media advocacy.
Developing tip sheets included conducting consultations with relevant stakeholders, research, writing and graphic design, whereas video development included script writing, video production, post-production editing and captioning. Four versions of resources (in English, French, Spanish and Russian) have been shared widely on online platforms and are used as educational resources about digital advocacy.
Our Solution
- Conducting desk research and consultations with key stakeholders and developing tip sheets
This project required a media-savvy content creator with strong skills in research and interviewing and was completed by our writer with a background in journalism. The writer completed desk research, conducted consultations with key stakeholders and developed two tip sheets.
- Designing the tip sheets in four languages
Our graphic designer developed two tip sheets in four languages. Proofreading of the English version of tip sheets was completed by the Altlier team, whereas external parties translated and proofread resources in French, Spanish and Russian language.
- Developing video script and producing two video resources
This part consisted of script writing, video production, presenting, post-production video editing (including video animation, motion graphics and title animation), post-production audio editing (including music placement, noise reduction, volume adjustment, and audio enhancement and intro/outro placement).
We submitted the resources in blocks for review and feedback, which we implemented in the final deliverables. The final products were published on INPUD’s website and shared widely on social media channels.
Final Products
The final deliverables included two tip sheets and two video resources in four languages (English, French, Spanish and Russian). The final products were published on INPUD’s website and shared widely on social media channels. They are aimed to serve as learning resources for organisations and individuals engaging in digital high-level advocacy and media and social media advocacy.
The resources can be accessed via the following links: Media and Social Media Advocacy Tip Sheet, Digital High-Level Advocacy Tip Sheet, and Digital High-Level Advocacy Videos (Video 1 and Video 2).
